Adam is the founder and CEO of Physio Performance Clinic with expertise in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. His work sits at the intersection of health, performance, and leadership, supporting individuals and organisations to perform at a high level without compromising long-term wellbeing.
Representing Brazil in Hockey at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Adam continues to compete in the Australian National League as well as internationally. Elite sport has shaped how he approaches leadership: with discipline, clarity, and a respect for process.
At the age of 12, Adam was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Managing a chronic condition while pursuing elite sport and business ownership has taught him resilience, adaptability, discipline and consistency—qualities that underpin his leadership and mentoring work.
An Australian by birth, naturalised Brazilian, and fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. Living and working across cultures has strengthened his communication, perspective, and ability to lead diverse teams.As a mentor and consultant, Adam supports individuals living with Type 1 diabetes as well as healthcare clinic owners seeking clarity, structure, and sustainable growth. His approach is practical, human, and grounded in lived experience.
Type 1 Diabetic
Diagnosed in 2002 at the age of 12. Learning and adapting to live alongside an autoimmune condition has shaped Adam’s identity as a person and leader more than any qualification or title.
Physiotherapist
Holding a Masters degree in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with over 16 years of experience working across a diverse range of allied healthcare clinics, patient demographics, and elite sporting organisations and athletes.
